Massive presents WINTER SOULSTICE!!!!!
Winter Soulstice is an astronomical event that happens once a year, when the tilt of the Earth's axis is most inclined toward or away from the Sun, people start dancing crazy like causing the Sun's apparent position in the sky to reach its northernmost or southernmost extreme. Bright lights and ya hoo's can be heard from dance parties all over the world. The name is derived from the Latin sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still), and M*A*S*S*I*V*E organisers get twitchy and excited because at the solstices, the Sun stands still in declination; that is, the apparent movement of the Sun's path north or south comes to a stop before reversing direction. So basically we need YOU to come and spend this special treat of a night with us, come and get excited!
