Prana's New Year Festival could be best described as a local and international circle of friends & families who share the values of meditation, music, movement and the arts as a path for transformation, healing, and developing consciousness.

Location: It is located in a beautiful and unique setting of gorgeous rock & pohutukawa landforms, a splendid and pristine beach and untouched native NZ bush with magnificent bird song at dawn and dusk.
PRANA ECO RETREAT is just north of Whangamata at Opoutere on the Coromandel peninsula.

Facilities:
- Valley Camp: (a Car-Parking-Ticket will allow you to drive onto this Camp-site. Conditions apply). This camp area is ideal for families, groups, and all people seeking distance from the main festival area.
- Bamboo Grove Camp: (a Car-Parking-Ticket will allow you to drive onto this Camp-site. Conditions apply). Most secluded area of Festival site. Ideal for peace and quiet at all times.
- Beach Lane Camp: (car free zone. Shuttle service available from free car park) Located closest to the Main Festival Hub. Most suitable for those who like to be close to the beach.
- Forest Camp: (car free zone. Shuttle service available from free car park). Most suitable for all day shade. Camping is amongst pine trees.
- Buddhafield Meditative Camp: (car free zone. Shuttle service available from free car park). For those that want to be in a quite surrounding and might like to participate in meditation activities.
- Car parking: All festival ticket holders who need a car near their campsite need a Car-Parking-Ticket.
- A Car-Parking-Ticket will allow you to drive to the Valley Camp or Bamboo Grove Camp, be allocated or choose your Campsite, unpack, setup your camping gear and park your car close by in a parking area approximately 10-100 metres away. Distance to parking area depends on availability. Choice of Camp area depends on availability. First arrivals first choice.
- All Mobile Homes, Campers, House Trucks and Buses, who want to be allocated to permanent available sites in the Valley Camp or Bamboo Grove Camp for the duration of the Festival, also need a Car-Parking-Ticket.
- A free car park is available for those who are not in need of having their car close to there campsite and a shuttle service will be available, on arrival and departure day, between the free car park and car free camping zones.
- Music Line-up: PRANA are currently accepting music submissions from live acts, bands and DJ's. More info at prana.co.nz.
