Yes, this event is one of the best, some say the best in Aotearoa, and I experienced some very special times and feelings at this festival. Hearing/seeing from backstage the evening show with Kora starting their set with the clouds rolling back to a pink snow capped mountain at sunset... Little Bushmen form in the crowd and while i ran to and fromt he car on top of the hill out FOH, and then Tyra absolutely kickin it, and finally to be let down slowly with ultra quality from Dave D to recover... exhilaration complete... There is much at Parihaka that cant be described easily, many different focal points, and diverse energies... I spent a lot of time on the hills trying to zoom in and translate some of those things in time, I timelapsed the Hangis for instance... yes outdoor styles incarnate, you gotta go and feel it,see it, taste it. Its very very special and may change your viewpoint somewhat, as it has mine, in powerful but subtle ways. Peace is the key to everything we want and need... chur and aroha see you there again!! paul moss //moza

parihaka is total peace and love immersed into a beautiful landscape. the commercialised vibe is drained out to produce a feeling of peace , love and joy. a feeling not experienced in many events.the uniqueness of this event is that the crowd portrays this in their energy fields sensed amongst the backdrop of true reggae dub beats that leaves the soul craving for openess and sensitivity to the universe. peace.
