Location: Muriwai Beach - west of Auckland
Environment: This small festival will be held within Houghtons Bush Camp.
We have a strong environmental theme, are attempting a zero waste policy and our performing and visual artists are theming their works to fit the kaupapa of Every Day is Waitangi Day.
Music Lineup:Anika Moa, Moana & the Tribe, Pacific Curls, Nat Rose, Ardijah, Majic, Maisey Rika and more will be singing the tune that 'Every Day is Waitangi Day.'
Cost: Adults $20, under 12 FREE, strictly limited number of tickets.
Check out their website for more information.It would be cool to have your support, all ticket proceeds will go towards fundraisers for the Muriwai Surf Club and Reweti Marae. This festival is being organised by volunteers, some of whom are performing and visual artists, with the Lifeguards assisting with logistics.
Other Info: Camping facilities are available in our village should they will to stay overnight - no motels out here, no ATMs either...
