Luminate is an earth friendly festival of music, art, dance, creativity and sustainability. Celebrate the ancient summer harvest festival of Lughnasadgh, on the full moon midway between the summer solstice and autumn equinox.
Music Lineup:
The Main Zone at Luminate brings together an astoundingly unique quality and diversity of music, featuring world class acts from overseas and New Zealand: Live music, World Grooves, Tribal rhythms, Electronic producers, DJs, Psytrance, Minimal tech, Progressive, Breaks, Dubstep, Electro, Dub, Folk, Funk, Roots, Soul, Reggae, esoteric beats and more...
Also featuring the 4:20 sessions - a spontaneous and creative live music jam each day at 4.20pm, featuring Luminate's talented musicians, poets and headline performers in various combinations.
- Alternative Zone - Dubstep, D&B, Psychedelic, Trance, Minimal tech, Progressive, Electro, Dub, Reggae, Ambient soundscapes and lots more.
- Tribal Zone - The sacred fire, the heart of the festival, the primal rhythm and acoustic beat.
- Chill Out Zone - Guest DJs will keep the soothing, downbeat grooves flowing, look out for some well renowned artists behind the decks.
Featuring: an extensive range of inspiring Workshops on sustainable living and other holistic topics, Healing zone (Flower Essences, Reiki, Indian Head and Shoulder Masssage, Chakra Balancing, Therapeutic Massage, Craniosacral work, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Naturopathy.), Jugglepoitoy with fire performers at night & circus skills workshops by day, Organic refreshments, Arts, Crafts & Market stalls, all set 2000ft up a quartz crystal and limestone mountain surrounded by native bush.

Other Info: Alcohol free event. ROAR. No glass. Luminate is a Clean Environment event. There will be no rubbish bins or recycling on site! Be prepared to pack out what you bring in and leave no trace. Food stalls will serve onto ceramics or direct to your own plate and cup. There will be a composting area for biodegradeables. The festival site layout and art installations have been designed using sacred geometry, natural materials and re-used resources. RRRESPECT zero waste!
