Luminate 09 is an earth friendly festival of music, dance, art, creativity and sustainability

Music: Luminate features an inspiring line-up of performers from Aotearoa and overseas, Five days of cranking world class music from New Zealand and international artists - Live music, World Grooves, Tribal rhythms, Psytrance, Progressive, Breaks, House, Dub, Funk, Folk, Roots, Soul, sublime Chill out and more...
Featuring: an extensive range of inspiring Workshops on sustainable living and other holistic topics, Healing zone, Drum circle and Acoustic jam zone, the Flamingjugglepoitoyzone with fire performers at night & circus skills workshops by day, enlightening Movies & Documentaries, Organic refreshments, Arts, Crafts & Market stalls, 2 amplified music zones....all set 2000ft up a quartz crystal and limestone mountain surrounded by native bush.
Tickets: Early Bird tickets: $85 until 13th Nov, $105 until 21st Dec. $125 until 1st Feb. $150 Gate sales. Children under 12 gain free admission. Zero waste means that food and drink stalls will be serving refreshments direct to your own plate or cup rather than disposable plates and cups. (Remember to bring your own utensils too!).
There will be no rubbish bins or recycling facilities. Be prepared to pack out what you bring in and leave no trace. There will be a composting area for biodegradables.
Camping is the Canaan Downs Standard, portaloos and running water but make sure you bring what you need to survive the days.
