Parihaka have announced that there will be no Parihaka Peace Festival 2011. Planning is underway for 2012. The team will spend that time working on ways to make the event viable and landscaping the festival site.

La De Da Festival fills the Gap

After the success of Coromandel Gold 09/10 last years eve, C4 have moved to fill the Geographical Gap in New Zealand Music Festivals with La De Da Festival. C4 backed La De Da festival, a one night music festival featuring many of the big names in New Zealand music, is to be hosted at Alana Estate's vineyards in Martinborough, just one hour's drive from central Wellington.
