Facilities: Onsite parking, Onsite Camping, free bus from Whitianga, food stalls and licenced bar.
Environment: So have you heard about the Byron Bay Blues Festival? Yes, No, well this is it on tour to the Coromandel. "Byron bay comes to the Coromandel" The first event of it's kind and it's looks set up to be a big one. The blues / Roots vibe will attarct a diverse crowd so families and party goers, and those who are both, are all welcome at Bluesfest 08. Make a weekend of it.
Other Info: Two 40 seater buses will run from the Information Centre in Albert Street, Whitianga to the site between 12.30pm and 5.00pm on Saturday 22 March. The free service will also be available from the site back to the Information Centre from 10.30pm till 1.00am on Sunday 23 March.
Prepurchased GA tickets which include parking on the site are available and we suggest if you want to park that you prepurchase the parking option. Anyone looking to park on the day will not be guaranteed a spot. If any parking is still available on the day, this will be on a first come first served basis and will be charged at $4.00 per vehicle. All those who have a VIP Platinum ticket have VIP parking included in the purchase price.
Vehicles may be taken to the camping paddock but once on the campsite, they cannot be moved out of the venue until the morning of Sunday 23 March.
