The phrase "Outdoor Styles" comes from Salmonella Dub, who were a huge influence on the roots of Outdoor Music Festivals in New Zealand. The track Outdoor Styles features on their Remixes and radio Cuts and Colonial Dubs EP releases. Salmonella Dub has featured The Gathering in their music videos (ie. Well.. it's getting harder to say! This is open for debate. The number of festivals taking place around New Zealand has soared dramatically. Many of these events now enjoy the huge budgets common to international events. However, there is still the beautiful underground of people willing to risk their life savings on creating a small event for the people around them. In reality, these are now the events I feel the push to promote.
